2025 Ford Bronco Sport: Everything You Need To Know
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport introduces significant updates, including improved access to navigation, entertainment, and vehicle controls and various drive modes for enhanced off-road capabilities. A notable addition for 2025 is the Sasquatch package, available on the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, which adds specialized off-road equipment for more challenging terrain.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Standard features on the Big Bend include 17-inch gray-painted aluminum wheels with all-terrain tires. The Heritage includes an Oxford White-painted roof, grille, and wheels, incorporating retro styling elements that pay tribute to classic Bronco models. Distinctive 17-inch Ebony wheels with Race Red-painted pockets and bold striped exterior details set the Free Wheeling trim apart. Its silver-painted grille includes two-color Bronco lettering for additional visual impact.
The Outer Banks model has 18-inch machined-face aluminum Ebony Black-painted wheels and a two-tone black roof. The optional Sasquatch package adds steel-plated front and rear bumpers, a brush guard, high clearance fender flares, and integrated fender tie-downs. Ford equips the Badlands model with 17-inch Carbonized Gray-painted wheels, metal bash plates, and a steel front bumper with built-in tow hooks. The Sasquatch package is also available on this trim.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Bronco Sport offers two engine options. The Big Bend, Heritage, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks trims use a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque and are rated to tow up to 2,200 pounds when properly equipped. A more potent turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Badlands generates 238 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, increasing the maximum towing capacity to 2,700 pounds. All trims use an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
With the 2.0-liter engine, the Badlands accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. All trims include standard all-wheel drive with G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any type of Terrain) modes. The Badlands and Sasquatch-equipped Outer Banks models feature an advanced four-wheel-drive system with a twin-clutch rear differential. The Badlands with the Sasquatch package adds a high-performance off-road stability suspension 3.0 system with BILSTEIN position-sensitive dampers. These trims also include trail control with one-pedal driving for precise off-road control.
Interior
A 13.2-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4 interface and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster are standard on all trims. Most models provide 32.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 65.2 cubic feet with the seats folded, while the Badlands offers 29.4 and 60.6 cubic feet, respectively. The Outer Banks includes leather-trimmed upholstery with heated front seats. Washable rubber flooring and easy-clean cloth seats feature in the Badlands. The Big Bend and Heritage include a MOLLE strap system on the seatbacks for additional storage.
Safety Features
All 2025 Bronco Sport models include Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ with adaptive cruise control. Standard safety technology includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, lane departure warning, and evasive steering assist. A surround-view camera system and front and rear parking sensors are standard on the Badlands and optional on the Outer Banks.
